Extraordinary and legendary items

I'm guessing that the appeal of the legendary and extraordinary items is the thrill collecting them, because most of the items are sub par (in my opinion). I have less rare items that are way better. For example, I have the Feygard sword and the Flagstone sword, they have comparable stats and they don't decrease my hit points. They also have an AP of 4, combined with the Fallhaven Jewel's bonus, feline gloves and boots movement and item use bonuses, and the 2 added AP from the combat speed skill, I'm able to attack 3 times a round and use a potion, or attack 4 times every round. That might seem lame to some, but it works for me, and that's all that matters.

It dropped easily the moment I killed the third revenant after entering the cave on my first attempt.

That list is the extraordinary and legendary items that you can get from drops. There are extraordinary items that you can buy, or get from quests.
