I noticed this tree just outside Guynmart.
Looks like a bug...

Also, is there no way to access the side of the lake facing Guynmart to use the raft again once the quest is completed?

You don't get another rafting, when you have done the quest, that's right.
And the tree is probably a creation of Nuik ...

That looks like two different objects stacked together for some reason, though maybe someone made that as a single object for some reason. I can take a look.

Not a stack - it looks like the pale shrub is supposed to be at the foot of a dead tree, and the map should have the top of the dead tree above it. Nice catch!
