It won't be your tablets ability urban. My old s3 could run this year's ago.

Think I've found a bug in secret garden.
all monsters still respawn even after agreeing to clear the cave making it impossible to effectively clear it for her to complete. Samsung galaxy s7 android 8.0

You are correct that they keep respawning. Kill a few more though, and you will get there.

they keep respawning, but that's ok. They have learned their lesson already probably. No need to kill all of them

You just need to kill a certain number, which you have certainly done by now. Maybe we need to change the wording Caeda's dialogue somewhat

maybe just a message that tells you when you have killed enough? Message could say something like" I have thinned out the trolls numbers.i should go see cards now".
