Lol i have killed 600 trainer or more and yet to got it.
I think there is a bug or the drop ratio is set to 0
It kind of ...
I will love to hear if someone got it

Yeah. I've gained 10 levels down here so far and still haven't gotten it. The drop rate certainly is set to rediculously low. I don't think anyone has gotten one yet and if they have they don't cruise the forums. Im hell bent on finding at least one though. Mybe two.

As I told somewhere else you need to kill much more. This is what I calculated:
You need to kill 6932!!! :o :o :o Gargoyle trainers to have a 50% chance to get the Ring of lesser shadow.
It has a chance of 0,01% to drop.

As there are more than 23000 players, there should be around 20 players getting this ring just by doing maelveons cave once.
And I think some of them also have accidentally sold it. ;-)

I've been trying to get one too since I found out where they were. I've had no luck, just enough rocks to build a small mountain. I don't know how many I've killed but I guess it has to be around a million.... give or take a few ;p

I never even would have known about it if not for reading about it here, so if there's someone who's not cruising the forums and didn't get one the first time through the cave, I doubt they'd know to keep trying.

Hmmm...might need to increase the drop rate....if no one is getting it there is no real reason for it to be in the game...

I try to keep track of my kill progress by counting my rocks. 400ish so far and still no ring. I've also gained roughly 13 levels and gotten my bonemeal poton stack up to 200 or so. Wee!

It become annoying. All the trainers when see me the runnig away.
Even the master saying "stop kill us".
Well if no one get the ring and by this post you can see that we killed all togather more than 25k trainer there must be a bug in that ratio.

I quit and go back to flagstone.
