7.2dev movement issue

I downloaded the current dev apk to check it out and everything seems OK so far on lvl 2 except for the map movement is very "jerky" for the lack of a better word. I'm on Android 4.4.2 with an A464BG Alcatel One Touch Pixi. The character moves very quickly through the map and the map jerks to catch up to the character. Other wise, so far so good.

the movement speed has been increased for testing purposes,
but it can be bumped back down to normal before you compile.

No, I found a link to the dev apk from one of the devs here at AT. I don't have a computer at the moment and, for legal reasons, I can't get one until 11/11/18. So, in the mean time, unless you know of a way to compile in Android, I don't have a way to put the apk together. If anyone does have a link to an apk that's current, please send it to me if you can at [email protected].

It is possible to compile to an apk on your phone, but I don't know the details. I was going to explain how to turn the speed down, but unless you can compile a new apk you will have to live with what you have.

Please be aware that savegames from the dev version will not be compatible with the release version!

Would dev savegames be expected to be compatible with the next release, assuming there are no maps, items, etc referenced that have been deleted from the final?

I don't believe so. At least, it's certainly not guaranteed.

Dev versions create tainted saves, that will never work with release versions.
