It looks like we have lost another to nyktos's Embrace the Shadow! campaign. FINE! .. I'm starting my own topic called Embrace the Fey, Hail Elythara!

I think The Templars sounds awesome, but where does the The Shadow fit in?

i would assume the Templars are hunting thieves & seeking to eradicate the Shadow and it's followers...
all in the name of King Geomyr & Elythara!

that being said:
- not all followers of Elythara are considered Templars...
- not all followers of the Shadow are considered Thieves...

there are Mages studying in Blackwater already,
why not Wizards & Rogues in Brightport too?

*wizards & rogues as opposed to mages & thieves
equal & opposites - that whole thing?

i still need to read up on what the team sent me about the world history,
i don't want to be counterproductive here.

i had a pretty solid idea about here Nor City was going,
but if i read something tonight that disrupts my plans...

My version of the story doesn't associate the Thieves Guild with The Shadow in any way. In fact, they are in direct opposition to the above ground priestly ordinances found all throughout... the Land of Dhayavar... yeah, that's right. Dhayavar. We'll see what Nor City has in store for us though. I believe there is where their central hub lies. As far as Brightport, it is a bit unrelated to this faction.

That's a silhouette as far as ur concerned.
It's actually a symbol of the extinguishment of the flame order of Elythara and her Templar BY The Shadow. An emblem of the past so as not to be forgotten.

almost certainly Feygard territory...

i was just making mention that the closer you get to Feygard,
the more things will start to reflect light.

not just stories about Kazaul, but new stories (Elythara)...
starting in Crossglen, almost all important NPCs are Shadow based.

As I understood it, he meant that since Chaos and Order are opposites and therefore neither can bear the other's presence within themselves. Such a statement is not a joke, but truth. Light cannot exist within the Shadow, nor can Shadow exist within the Light.
