i'm totally thinking save & reload here...

i usually go in there too weak planning on using the:
attack, attack, flee... [save] attack, attack, flee... [save]

trying not let him hit me with those tragic effects
(i wanted the dagger really early &it was tedious, but i still enjoyed it)

but, IIRC you weren't fond of that method?

Hate is a strong word, but I hate the flee tactic. It's like a incessant fly in my face quite annoying... but idk why. If you want to win just save and reload if ur dead. I guess I play conservatively. If I'm not strong enough to kill anything in one confrontation I shouldn't be in that area. That's just me, though.

We're on the same page! But these guys told me this cave is doable at around level 30. I can see that they were right... mostly, its just the boss that's a pain! So I was trying to get advice on whether or not I could put my Level up points on something that would enable me to maybe survive this fight. But my question seemed to have driven everyone away. So OK. I went and levelled up without their advice. I'm still getting killed, but that'll be the LAST time I ask them for help.
Then I found myself alone on the forums, decided to amuse myself and got yelled at for doing so by Zukero. Now I'm having doubts about my original assessment about this community.
