But then why not just buy the balanced steel sword? ac:4, ac:32%, AD:3-4, and buy the jewel of fallhaven to make your ac:3 also? If you want high attacks with some power and little to no negative?

Because if you use the QSD and the JOF, your AC would be 2 (6 swings per turn w/ CS Lvl2)

Vs the Balanced Steel Sword which would only get 4 swings in a turn.

This discussion was started Pre-V7, before Duel Wielding was introduced into the game.
