I agree. I fought for weeks with myself trying to decide if it was better for my defensive build than the ELyR is. I decided it wasn't, but it is still a nice weapon. I use it in other builds.

what armor do you use with the Elyr?

I'm currently using the hauberk until I obtain skill points needed to use the shadowstalker as I made the mistake of going with heavy armor proficiency skill

Ok, I was wondering if you were using the Shadowstalker....as the +2 to AP from the Elyr seems the best way to use that armor.
