With a lil collaboration and organization this quest has great potential.

I think Corpse Eater should disable the ability to receive raw meat as a drop. If you are gaining hp by "eating" the corpse, how is there any meat left over? I don't use corpse eater and I doubt I ever would, but it only makes sense that the formentioned would be implemented.

It's meant as a "figure of speech" not literally eating the corpse to gain power (in this case HP). But even if you take it literally, you could cut a perfectly steak size piece of meat from the animal and then eat the rest of the carcass so the drop still works.

I predict there being quite a few posts asking how to get thru it after it's added, or posts stating they used all their healing potions and now have to start over.
