Colecting Dropped Items

A while back I read that you could drop stuff into the basket in your "home". A week or so ago I started keeping track of how many of each item I have and it's value if sold for gold. The following is the list I have so far.

Question: why can I only see two posts when the topic says there are four?

Answer: Spam cleanup. The forum software doesnt update the database about reply count after a reply/post is deleted (whether that is correct or a bug, is another discussion).

It's a bug from older versions of the phpbb bulletin system.

It's just a bank. You can clean up the inventory you carry without selling everything or having bag icons all over the map.

But if your character can carry unlimited items (I assume, my guy is currently carrying over 11,000 items) why would you want to leave them at home? What if you need them for something?
