I LOST AN ATTACK!!

Post by Chest_Rockfield »

What happened? Did the stats on one of the items I'm wearing go down with the update? I thought it went down before when I tested out the BW merch, but I loaded a save game and got it back. I must have tested out another weapon and forgot to save first. This sucks. I basically just lost 120,000 experience just for trying on a weapon. BOO! Will the game developers make up for this loss in the next update by fixing the stat on the item that they changed???

Can you be more specific to what item you are referring ???

You have 80HP not sure how you could have died without knowing you were low on HP. I have yet to find a monster that has a hit of more than 40HP.

I guess my real question here is what is exactly the problem ? Please give more details.

I didn't die. I had 21-25 attack damage. I think I tried on the Shadow of the Slayer. When I put the Steel Sword back on I must have gone down to 20-24 without noticing. I think I read somewhere else that this happened to people because of stats that changed on the update, so I tried not to put anything on without saving and loading. I must have forgot. Do you know where/why this happened, and whether or not it will be corrected?

You sure you don't have any actor conditions affecting you, like fatigue?

Or Blackwater Misery ?

In the new areas there are quite a few monsters that will "effect" you in one way or another.

Oops, I apologize all. I did have fatigue. I didn't know that changed attack, and certainly didn't know that would show up under both the current equipped combat statistics AND the stats on the inventory page. My bad.

So about this fatigue stuff and new actor conditions. In the next update, do you think it would be fair to change it so that if you waste 5 attack points to drink a potion to get rid of fatigue that you should be immune from fatigue for a certain amount of rounds? If you are likely to fatigued the next round again anyway, spending that 5ap on a non-healing potion is not only a bad deal, it's also a waste of a swing that is already precious considering your state. You are almost always better off just staying fatigued and hitting as much as you can. It kinda makes that potion totally worthless.

You don't need to waste the AP on getting rid of fatigue. Wait till you are done fighting that monster then drink the potion. I haven't had it effect me enough that I need the potion during a fight. If you don't get the potion it could effect you more and more with each fatigue hit. I don't know if the fatigue hits stack or not, at least I haven't noticed it.

I don't use a cure while fighting. I did buy 20 or so potions when they were first available. I don't bother with them now, as soon as I use one I'll get it back. I would like to see the potions act as a protection, maybe twice as many rounds longer than getting hit by lesser fatigue.

I haven't noticed fatigue hits stacking.
