Howdy, and Congrats on a great game!! I've been hooked for a couple weeks now.

I have a few stuck places, but still trying to figure them out. But deep wound really has me stumped . Is the secrete path on the same Mao where the quest comes from? I see the worms and pit just a little north and east but have searched and no luck finding the hidden path. Thanks in advance

I'd say yes to your question, you need to head "to the north a bit and then east, hidden in the trees is a trail blocked by caterpillars, at the end of the trail is a pit with yet more caterpillars, one will drop the book." This was taken from Loneford and Crossroads Area Quests subject. the forum is FULL of information, but the users here are very helpful. I hope this helps.
