You should probably spend your skill points on Magic Finder, assuming you want to grind for some Legendary objects, as many do once they know about them.

Get a better shield. I like the Strong Tower Shield, available in Loneford.

You're just about ready to take on Flagstone. The boss drops an excellent sword.

Actually, I don't fight any more. I let the gods handle it. They love fighting. I get them to fight each other and leave us in peace. It's bad enough when humans start trouble.

What I should have also mentioned is the Fencing blade has the same attack cost (3AP with JoF), so you get 4 attacks with it. The other BC adding weapons have a higher attack cost or come with Blackwater misery.
