Legendary Items ~ In-Game Hints!

Before I came to the forums, I was unaware of the existence of grinding items or legendary items. I was just thinking that all the other guys who aren't on the forums won't know what the legendary items are either. There should be an NPC or something at each site of the grind telling you about them, or who'd know about the ROLS, ROL, ElyR, stuff like that?

I was thinking along the lines of a bard or storyteller, but a quest for information sounds good too.

we really need to take advantage of the Lore idea that Oskar accepted...
so you can read books on shelves or similar ideas - as another means of gathering information.

since these items are "legendary"...
maybe you can read about them somewhere?
then go out looking for them if you choose to go out on a "wild goose chase"

...or even written on the papers lying on the ground?

This Npc could also be a known merchant or wizard who can tell you everything about these rare items.

Love the idea of books, but think also of the torn journal pages in the hut on road to BWM. Hope this is further imped when new L/E items will come available next release.

+1 +1 +1 so many +1s... there are probably thousands of players out there who have no idea these weapons even exist.

Adding some sort of rumors and tales of powerful and long lost weapons would at least let players know they are there.

Actually, I'd like to ask a question again: How did you guys find out about the legendary items in the first place? I found out when I came here, but who posted the info about legendary items first?
