I think from what DarkSavant13 is implying though is that it should automatically end. If there's not enough AP left to initiate any moves (flee, attack, item) then the should automatically end. I remember the first time this happened to me and i thought it was a bug. I've kind of got the hang of it now so if i can anticipate needing to use a potion in a round i do it as my first action. To summarize: When you take a potion by using the quickslot and your amount of AP left falls under the minimum AP amount to make any action, the round will NOT be ended automatically.

many suprises in store, and this little irritant is just a tiny stepping stone.
(i actually brought it up in a recent meeting too!)
that's how i got this much out of him!
