auto regenerate health
Auto regenerate health as you move about. Don't restrict health regeneration to resting only. Doesn't have to be a fast gain but a slow gain as you move about the game. This would allow you to try to find a "safe" spot to stand and regain health without using potions or food. You might have to stand in one spot for several minutes to regain 5-10health points.

the skill Regenerate gives you one hit point every six seconds, moving or stationary.
(but it doesn't work during battle)
edit: make sure you are playing the most recent version of the game...
you will see it indicated at the upper right corner of the title screen.
