I don't use any item which can't be bought, yet I'm not sure how I got "Jewel of Fallhaven". I even don't use "Dagger of shadow priests" since I'd like to fight bare handed. It seems to me equally well but gives me more attack rounds which is IMO more fun.

But yes, once you get a good amount of base AD and AC (or from other equipment), unarmed combat is pretty good, especially with the Jewel of Fallhaven (which is store-bought) since it only costs 2AP per attack. The only weapon that matches that is the Quickstrike dagger which also gives you 20% AC but you lose 20% BC (worth it earlier on, but not as much later imo). The minor potion of speed also goes well with that, as does Cleave if you're attacking groups.

You can if you sided with Prim in the Prim vs Blackwater Mountain Settlement quest. They sell it in their potion shop and IMO, that is a good reason to side with Prim.
