I don't go to Prim/BWM very often simply because it's a pain.(though I've been atop BWM since finishing last update, grinding for potions of speed,

It would be neat to have a back door to BWM, maybe to the north, make it challenging, but an alternative to the dark maze..not a giant priority obviously, just food for thought.

Agree, have thought the same--like the secret shortcut to

Lodar.

Could have a tuff Troll or some extra hard-2-defeat creature guarding the back-door/shortcut..with a message,
"None Shall Pass!" -so the Troll-Guardian or such is gonna need a Gandalfesque hat'n'beard!

Appreciate the tips & encouragement--found my way thru the darkness and completed all (known) quests for Prim & BWM! Lots of fun.

And did it with only a couple dozen small stones.
Turned out it wasn't as far to navigate as I anticipated, thankfully!
However, I did 95% of it with the

Mermaid's Curse

! -foolish, but then I usually do things slightly outta order
In this case, since I did Prim/BWM as a too-high-level char, that

Curse

ended up helping to balance a bit, tho still all battles were way too easy, so should've done BWM much earlier in the game.

So now that's 580 places visited and 80 quests completed.
(can't bring myself to murder those sheep for nobut vengeance)
Just need to wrap things up with

Oh yeah. When I started, there was only Crossglen, Fallhaven, Vilegard and Flagstone Prison.
