Raising this thread from the dead because I followed the suggestions here and it's... much better than that other one. ... Except I got to the end of the current game and realised I never used that second outfit anywhere. Where exactly do we not deal critical damage?

Some monsters are immune to critical hits.

You could check each individual monster in the Directory,(link at top of page), or, take a look at the remains after you've killed one, a pile of "ash" was immune to crits, a "pool of blood and bits" was not.

Ohhh. I was stuck there for a bit and I tried changing to the other outfit but I felt like that didn't help any, like the main outfit was better. Hmm.
