places visited

I have visited 376 places and finished 49quests. I'm missing one place. I was wondering if buying a bed counts as a place visited?. I didn't buy any beds that cost a lot.
On another note since I'm done with the quests i have been grinding for the rare items. Got the chat and golf in one day. Woohoo no such luck yet with the wyrms and imps.

I don't think that beds count as rooms. Some thoughts:
- Perhaps you missed a single house or a room / cellar there in.
- I don't know, how much teleporter rooms there are in blackwater mountain and if they all count as single rooms. If so, perhaps you missed one of those.
- Have you visited:
- the cellar of cossroads guardhouse and bribed the guard to go through that hole in the wall?
- the room behind the curtain in iqhan cave?
- the mad woman in her backyard behind one of the remgard houses? (but I don't think, that this one counts as room- it's a part of the map.)
- the mud fiends cave in the green maze next to loneford? I nearly forgot that one.

Quests:
Renting the bed in Fallhaven does count as a quest, renting a bed won't count towards your places visited.

That last place to visit: It's out there somewhere! Keep adventuring and I'm sure you will find it eventually.

Good luck adventurer!

Would it be mean to tell people that there are actually 178 places to visit? ;)

Congratulations on exploring every inch of the current map Ian! That's quite an accomplishment (It's so easy to miss something)!

Ha!

I also had only 376 places, but I just found the 377th :D. In Crossglen one house has a cellar (the farmhouse directly south of home). I can't believe I missed that for the entire game, when it was only a few steps from the starting point!
And a letter saying to meet at Lodar's place - obviously not needed to complete any existing quest, but maybe a big problem in the future of I had not found it!

obscure and hidden places

Tell me any obscure or hidden places that would be easy to miss. Not related to a quest or obtaining the 8 crystals. All quests are done all crystals found. All L&E items collected still missing one spot to visit. I have searched virtually with the interactive map and physically by walking around.
i have been in the crossguard tower where you bribe the guard. The ooze cave, the secret room behind the Curtain, the worm cave by Dulian road and on the way to Remgard, the two caves in the green maze. I have rechecked every house for a basement . So if you think of anymore i would appreciate the help.
