RoLs, rocks n gems, ring of lesser shadow/loneford illness

OK please forgive me but I'm not familiar with some of the game lingo. For example what doe
s RoLs stand for what's it mean and how is it obtained? Also I'm seeing posts about rocks and gems...are u supposed to collect them to get a special item like the ringof lesser shadow?
Also I'm stuck on the loneford quest to find out what caused the illness. I've talked to everyone around but can't progress further. Help anyone?

RoLS = Ring of Lesser Shadow

it is an item the enemy drops,
but they dont drop them very often.
(quite rare actually)

one in ten thousand kills

[or]

1/10,000 kills

as for the "count items" they let you guess at the number of targets you have slain.
since only certain monsters drop certain items.

Gargoyle Trainers & Masters drop them, but they also drop rocks...
1/4... so if you have 2,500 rocks you might have a ring.

Most of the abbreviations are for the Legendary & Extraordinary items (but based on their English names, so its more confusing if you're playing a translated version).

The rocks, and gems are just counters to estimate how many of the creatures that drop those items you've killed, but having the rocks or gems does not affect whether or not the special item will drop.

For the Loneford sickness, make sure you talk to all the farmers on the fields.

Thankx guys I appreciate it. I love the game and am excited for the new update to see where the journey goes. Speaking of which, when is the next update due for release? OK I'm gonna try to get outta BWM alive

the updates come out as soon as they are done being tested,
we are currently testing tons of new skills & writing a bunch of new quests...

a couple months maybe?

you can follow the meetings to watch our progress...
the next one is July 8th & hopefully we will get a good idea on our progress.

the next meeting is going to be a little different,
the focus will be on isolating all of the ideas...
what's been accepted, what's been rejected & what's being considered.

so we have something cohesive for everyone to look at
(when considering things to add to the game & thinking about the future of the game)
