That is a good idea actually. You can always give value with story. The problem would be that it mustn't be traded in before.

Actually, if stats are bad, there should be use for the item in quests like suggested. Love the idea!

Like Stone Cuirass, could be needed to hide yourself into, so monsters that come after you stop chasing (this is released in v0.7.0) and go back to random wandering. Then such an item could be used to sneak through impossible tough monsters (which could be killed by the very high levels only).

Not a bad quest idea. I forgot about this one thanks for bumping it back up.

Maybe there could be a whole set of armor that would be needed to sneak through. Like Stone Hands, Feet, and Head.
